Terms of Use

This is a privately owned reference site with no government, sheriff, jail, or corrections affiliation. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Nature of the service

The service points users toward Cheatham County and Tennessee record resources. It stores no official jail, court, or corrections records and cannot verify custody, release anyone, or file paperwork. Government offices, including the county records coordinator, jail, court, and TDOC, control their own records and processes.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. You may not stalk, harass, threaten, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, or use automated scraping that burdens the service or its providers. You may not use information from this site or a partner for any purpose prohibited by the FCRA, including credit, employment, insurance, housing, tenant, licensing, permit, or government-program eligibility decisions.

Outside links and tools

Links can lead to sheriff pages, court portals, corrections pages, federal locators, and third-party search tools. They are provided for convenience, not as an endorsement. Those providers control their content, availability, terms, data practices, and results. A linked source may change without notice.

No warranties

The service is provided as is and as available. No warranty is made that content is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Custody status and public records can change rapidly, and no page here is an official statement by a public office.

Liability and indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or an outside resource. By using the service, you agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms, including reasonable legal fees where allowed.

Ownership and changes

Site text, graphics, logo, and code belong to Cheatham County Busted Mugshots or its content partners unless another owner is identified. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission. These terms may be updated at any time, and revised terms apply when posted. Access may be limited or revoked at any time without notice.

Tennessee law and severability

These terms are governed by Tennessee law. Tennessee's public-records access framework includes T.C.A. ยง 10-7-503, but official record access remains controlled by the originating custodian and applicable exemptions. Disputes must be filed in a court within Tennessee. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect, with the invalid portion adjusted only as needed.
